Stacy L. Gromlich

Jenna McCarthy

Stacy Gromlich joined Malady & Wooten in 2019 and brings over two decades of experience working in and with state government. Her understanding of the legislative process and experience in the government relations profession speaks for itself and has resulted in successful legislative and advocacy victories for her clients. Throughout her career, Stacy has represented clients across a wide variety of sectors from manufacturing to animal welfare to education to labor, and she has specialized in the healthcare policy arena. Healthcare policy is often as much about working with regulators and partners as it is about the structural foundation and funding of the program itself. To that end, Stacy has excelled at policy change advocacy within the Administration and its various Departments. She has successfully advocated for rate and funding increases, regulatory changes, needed flexibilities for providers, and has assisted in facilitating better working relationships among all partners in the human services realm. Stacy has most recently worked to advocate for additional payment options within the Medicaid program for a specific provider group, worked to create a more transparent rate process and secured legislative successes within the Medical Marijuana Program. Stacy is able to navigate the multifaceted relationships needed in healthcare to serve the residents of the Commonwealth. Her legislative experience, policy work and understanding of the healthcare system and structures within each subset has resulted in many positive changes for our clients prior to and throughout a global healthcare pandemic.

Prior to her experience in government relations, Stacy served as a research analyst for the Republican House Health and Human Services Committee. In her role with the committee, she worked on constituent inquiries, wrote, and analyzed policy relating to health and human services topics covering all aspects of the healthcare industry. Prior to working with a specific committee, she also served as a constituent correspondence writer for the House Republican caucus where she worked on the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Resources and Energy, Liquor Control, Education and Health and Human Services Committees. Prior to her time in Harrisburg, Stacy served as a legislative assistant in the district office of former State Representative Jere Strittmatter from Lancaster County.

A graduate of Millersville University, Stacy earned a BA in Government and Political Affairs. She is a lifelong Pennsylvanian who was born and raised in Lackawanna County. She is active in her community and is a member of Women in Pennsylvania Government Relations and a Republican Committeewoman. Previously, Stacy served in local government as a Lemoyne Borough Council Member. She is a 2011 graduate of the Anne Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series and the 2010 Recipient of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association President's Award for advocacy. Stacy served on Governor-elect Corbett's Transition Team for the Department of Labor and Industry in 2010. Stacy and her family reside in Cumberland County.
